The subject of much (healthy) debate of the proposed development at 336 Main Street, was revisited on January 29th. The council tabled the motion to approve the development of the former Home Hardware building located on Main Street Wolfville. Council is looking for a reduced amount of units (currently up to 71 units) and lower the percentage of the use of the complex as hotel rooms. There was also concern about the design fitting the “Look & Feel” of Wolfville. Overall, Council seems pro-development of downtown, and this development, but are looking for modifications. The Great Debate Continues.
